Engineering Characteristics

1. Polymer-modified epoxy mortar material is the best material for anti-slip on ramps, featuring excellent anti-slip performance, noise reduction and vibration resistance.

2. Solvent-free two-component system, with the main components being polymer-modified epoxy mortar and mineral fillers;

3. The two components are evenly mixed and applied to the base surface, and then sprinkled with mineral aggregates to achieve excellent anti-slip performance and prevent dark ice.

Construction technology

Base surface treatment:
Cement base floor - Use a grinding machine to grind the entire base surface, remove the floating slurry, clean the base surface, and repair the damaged parts of the base surface with polymer mortar. The concrete surface must be clean, dry and firm to achieve the maximum adhesion between the polymer modified epoxy mortar and the base layer.

Asphalt base ground - It should be fully compacted and the excess asphalt on the surface worn off after normal driving for more than half a year to reduce the risk of cracking and peeling caused by asphalt shrinkage. Before construction, the surface of the base should be cleaned thoroughly to ensure that the polymer-modified epoxy mortar achieves the maximum adhesion to the base layer.

Apply a primer:
Mix the SPR-51203C polymer modified epoxy mortar primer A agent and B agent in proportion thoroughly and evenly, and apply it evenly on the clean base with a roller. If it is an asphalt pavement, no primer is required. The anti-slip coating can only be applied after the pavement is completely stable.

Intermediate coating:
Thoroughly mix the paint agent A and Agent B in the SPR-51004P/SPR-51005P polymer modified epoxy mortar in proportion to form a uniform mortar. The total mixing time should be controlled within 3 to 5 minutes. Apply it evenly on the primer with a trowel. Do not add diluents or solvents at will.

Sprinkle anti-slip aggregates:
Within 5 minutes after the intermediate coating is completed, evenly spread the aggregate on the completed intermediate coating. (Select aggregates of appropriate particle size based on traffic flow. The aggregates must penetrate more than two-thirds of the thickness of the intermediate coating.)

Clean aggregates:
Use an air gun or vacuum cleaner to remove the excess aggregates thoroughly and recycle them. After curing, it is ready.

Scope of application

It is applicable to urban greenways, intersections, anti-slip roads and parking lot ramps, highway tunnels, Bridges, docks, aprons and other areas subject to heavy traffic.
